Foster Dog is a short film about a young, disabled dog in foster care that gets a new leash on life, with the help of an older, wiser friend, in order to become adoptable and find his "furever" home.
This fictional tale is told through the eyes of dogs, and not just any dogs. Our main character, Henry, is portrayed by Finnegan who was adopted through Paws To The Rescue. His original PTS day at the shelter was his day of arrival but thankfully he won the hearts of the shelter workers who kept him alive until Paws To The Rescue was able to save him and find him a home.
Now he's doing his part to help his fellow shelter mates by bringing attention to the foster programs that exist across the nation. Fosters play a very important role in helping pets find their forever home. Our hope with this short film is to bring more awareness not only to foster programs, but also to the plight of disabled aka "special needs" dogs and cats. Whether they are blind, deaf or physically handicapped, these guys need and deserve love and care too... and don't forget about our senior pets as well!!
"Foster Dog is a short film sure to touch your heart with the sweet honesty of cinematic honey. This 14-minute
journey can be savored by young and old alike, and is very worthy of sharing with kindred spirits. Alonso
